Work Experience

This course will develop a positive attitude towards a career and life-long learning in the business world. This course will provide experience, strategies and components to become skilled and successful towards employment. Emphasis will be on skills and work behaviors that will enable them to be successful in the world of work.

Guidance
Students will be taking the guidance class to get assistance with their other classes and become familiar with the various parts of their Individualized Educational plan. The class will be focussing on the following items:

*learn and understand all parts of Individualized Education Program
*learn to advocate for themselves by knowing and understanding
 modifications
*learn to use Parent Link to check grades, attendance, transcripts use time in
class to complete missing assignments or work on homework
learn and use organizational skills

Course Expectations

English IV
will emphasize the continued development of writing proficiency, problem solving, reading fluency and comprehension, reasoning skills, critical thinking skills, listening, speaking and discovery. In addition, a positive and intuitive attitude towards all things will also be very instrumental in each students success. Students will study in and out of class in order to sharpen their skills that are necessary achieve, solve and live.
